Job summary

The Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset is seeking a qualified Housekeeping Aide to join our team. The role focuses on keeping resident rooms and common areas clean and safe, in line with regulations and Quality Center standards.

Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, trash removal, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility. Candidates should be flexible, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task; LTC experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience in LTC preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff; follow all applicable laws, regulations and Quality Center standards.
• Perform day-to-day housekeeping services such as dusting, mopping and collecting trash.
• Maintain resident rooms, dining rooms, offices and all general areas by cleaning restrooms, walls, baseboards, doors, mirrors, and furniture; follow proper cleaning techniques and protocols.
