Job summary

CRISTA Senior Living in Shoreline, WA is seeking a Housekeeper (Temporary) to maintain a safe, clean environment for residents, families and staff. You will perform routine duties including cleaning, disposing of trash, and providing supplies.

Daily responsibilities include monitoring areas for cleanliness and safety, disinfecting surfaces, handling cleaning chemicals safely, and reporting unsafe conditions to the Resident Services Manager. Teamwork and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned areas daily to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
• Promptly clean and disinfect surfaces and remove or report any unsafe, broken, or hazardous materials in accordance with facility standards.
• Provide supplies to patient rooms, resident apartments, common areas and restrooms, Environmental Specialist closets.
• Safely clean up human waste and other body fluids in accordance with facility infection control policies and procedures (PPE and approved cleaning agents).
• Handle various cleaning chemicals safely according to SDS guidelines.
• Report unsafe, unclean, or broken materials to the Resident Services Manager.
• Properly use and take care of equipment.
• Attend meetings, classes and trainings as assigned by the Resident Services Manager.
• Use ladders in a safe manner, when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with managers, supervisor, lead, coworkers, and residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
