The Wyndmoor Group is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for an assisted living facility in Indiana. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors with compassionate, detail-oriented service.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas, handling linen services, restocking supplies, and collaborating with nursing staff to meet resident needs. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare or senior living housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful with elderly residents.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift and move for extended periods; lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and administrative offices per facilities standards.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and disinfect assigned areas routinely and as-needed.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Launder bed linens, towels, and residents' laundry as needed.
• Replenish soap, paper products, and cleaning supplies.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.
• Observe and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unusual resident behavior.
• Handle resident belongings with respect and confidentiality.
• Assist in preparing rooms for new residents.
• Collaborate with nursing and care staff to meet resident needs.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
