Job summary

WPM, one of the region's premier real estate management companies, is seeking a Housekeeper for an assisted living community. The role requires clean resident apartments, common areas, and facilities to ensure a sanitary, safe, and welcoming environment while following infection control and safety standards.

You will perform duties such as cleaning, restocking supplies, reporting issues, and treating residents, families, and coworkers with courtesy and respect.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, fixtures, and high-touch areas.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Make beds and change linens as scheduled or needed.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, dining rooms, lounges, offices, and other common areas.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and report inventory needs.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and OSHA guidelines.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to facility policies.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or resident concerns to the appropriate department.
• Treat residents, families, and coworkers with courtesy, dignity, and respect.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.
