Job summary

Ciel Senior Living in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeping Associate to maintain clean, comfortable spaces for residents and guests.

Responsibilities include cleaning public areas and resident rooms, restrooms, vacuuming, dusting, window and wall spot-cleaning, and assisting with activity room setups. The role requires good communication, teamwork, reliability, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions; training is provided through LMS.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• General knowledge of housekeeping.
• Ability to use all required equipment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate with residents, families, staff and vendors.
• Team player and able to work independently.
• Able to read, write and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains assigned areas including public areas and resident rooms.
• Cleans restrooms, counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, and fixtures in apartments and common areas.
• Vacuums carpeted areas and mops tile floors.
• Spot cleans walls and windows.
• Dusts furniture and empties trashcans.
• Cleans baseboards, pictures, lights, and HVAC vents.
• Assists with activity room set-ups, which could require movement of furniture.
• Attends training courses at community and maintains up to date monthly, quarterly, annual training through LMS.
• Other duties as assigned, and which relate to the success of the community and the care, comfort, and happiness of our residents.
