Seaton Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join its team in New Jersey. You will perform daily cleaning of apartment homes and common areas, including floors, fixtures, and laundry tasks, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

The role emphasizes reliability, attention to safety, and respectful interaction with residents and staff. Full-time hours and a supportive team are offered by the community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively speaking the primary language of the residents.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Interest in working with a senior population.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties according to schedule in apartment homes, common areas, lounges and offices.
• Sweeps, dusts, mops, and vacuums floors, rotates runners in hallways and entryways.
• Cleans, sanitizes and polishes lavatory fixtures; stocks dispensers as necessary.
• Scrubs bath and shower tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills.
• Maintains equipment and materials in a clean, orderly condition.
• Collects trash from work areas and oversees community laundry.
• Maintains the commercial laundry in a clean, sanitary condition.
• Keeps cleaning chemicals stored securely and cords out of exits.
