Job summary

Healthcare Services Group Inc. is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices while following safety guidelines and infection-control policies.

Starting pay is USD 15.00 per hour, with benefits available to all employees. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a positive attitude, with good communication skills and the ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, staff, and building occupants.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks and work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions and daily tasks.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
