Job summary

Wellspring Lutheran Services in Monroe, MI is seeking a Housekeeper who will help create a warm, clean and welcoming home for residents. You will maintain resident rooms, dining areas, and common spaces, while upholding infection control and safety standards.

No heavy tech skills needed; attention to detail and compassion are essential. You may also assist with laundry, room preparation and occasional special events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, dining spaces and offices to be clean, safe and welcoming.
• Follow infection control practices and safety standards for residents, staff and visitors.
• Assist with laundry duties and basic room preparation.
• Monitor furnishings, equipment and supplies; report repairs or replenishment needs.
• Support a caring environment, respecting resident belongings and preferences.
• Respond to resident needs and assist during events or emergencies as needed.
