Aventura at Humility House in Youngstown, OH is seeking a dependable Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role includes housekeeping and laundry tasks, with a schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and public areas, following infection-control procedures, and providing courteous service. Prioritize reliability, teamwork, and a professional attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work effectively with coworkers and other departments.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
• Ability to perform physically demanding duties, including prolonged standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout the facility.
• Clean and maintain resident rooms, hallways, corridors, public areas, and service areas.
• Clean and maintain showers, toilets, restrooms, and common areas.
• Perform laundry duties as assigned.
• Follow established cleaning, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Follow written and verbal instructions from management.
• Work cooperatively with coworkers and other departments.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service to residents and visitors.
• Complete assigned duties in a timely and dependable manner.
