Job summary

Night Owl Janitorial is seeking a friendly, reliable Housekeeping team member to serve residents at the Idaho State Veterans Home in Boise, ID. Join our premium commercial cleaning team delivering clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for veterans and staff.

We offer full-time shifts, a starting rate of $14.50 per hour, hands-on training, and opportunities to learn specialty cleaning like carpet and floor restoration.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial, cleaning, or housekeeping preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Willingness to learn specialty cleaning tasks and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and offices.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform floor care including basic restoration tasks.
• Empty trash, restock supplies, and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Perform occasional specialty tasks such as window cleaning and carpet spot cleaning.
• Follow established cleaning schedules, safety guidelines, and infection-control procedures.
