Job summary

The Villas at St. Therese in Columbus, OH is hiring a full-time Housekeeper to join a faith-based nonprofit elder care community. The role supports a clean, welcoming environment for residents and staff, with a schedule from 7am to 3pm and a pay rate of $14 per hour.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, nursing home housekeeping experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Nursing Home housekeeping experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and able to handle stress.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Cleans office equipment, social areas and common areas.
• Empties trash, dusts, vacuums all common areas.
• Cleans all bathrooms; replaces paper products; cleans and polishes all furniture and fixtures.
• Mops, buffs and extract floors.
• Assists with cleaning of resident rooms during move in/move out.
