Job summary

Cornerstone Management Community is seeking a reliable custodian/housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment for residents. This role emphasizes attention to detail and a respectful, resident-centered approach.

Responsibilities include sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, bathroom cleaning, and light repairs while working closely with a maintenance team. Flexibility and physical stamina are essential to support daily operations in a senior living community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Physical ability to perform manual cleaning duties.
• One-year prior cleaning/custodial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Ability to relate to senior adults and work in a team.
• Flexible and able to work in a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Clean all common areas and rooms by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, waxing and polishing.
• Empty and sanitize trash containers in common use areas.
• Move, rearrange, and dust furniture and fixtures.
• Clean and polish entry doors, fixtures, and lobby areas.
• Vacuum dining areas and wipe tables/chairs after use.
• Mix cleaning solutions to proper concentrations and maintain safe odor levels.
• Perform light repairs such as plunging toilets as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and participate as part of maintenance team.
