The role involves cleaning resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, floors, windows, and linens, following daily assignments and infection control practices.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Experience in housekeeping in healthcare is preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with staff.
• Maintain tact and confidentiality with residents, family and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned.
• Follow daily work assignments for specific tasks.
• Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures and surfaces in resident rooms and common areas.
• Clean, sanitize and polish bathrooms and fixtures.
• Clean windows, walls, ceilings and floors as directed.
• Vacuum carpets and perform basic carpet maintenance.
• Remove dirt and disinfect surfaces to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Coordinate isolation cleaning procedures with nursing staff when needed.
