Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Environmental Cleaning: Sweep, dust, damp-mop, and vacuum resident rooms, offices, corridors, and common areas.
• Waste Management: Safely collect, remove, and dispose of trash and biohazardous waste according to facility guidelines.
• Sanitization: Follow strict infection control and cleaning guidelines to ensure a sanitary environment for residents and staff.
• Inventory & Equipment Care: Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean, organized, and working condition; notify supervisors when supplies run low.
• Safety & Compliance: Properly store all cleaning equipment, tools, and chemical supplies. Keep accurate logs of completed cleaning areas.
• Communication: Immediately report any mechanical issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Resident Advocacy: Act as an extra pair of eyes and ears by promptly reporting any noticeable changes or questionable resident conditions to the nursing supervisor.
