Job summary

Silverstone Living is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join our team in Nashua, NH. The role runs from 8am to 4pm and involves cleaning all areas of the community, including rooms, offices, and public spaces, with emphasis on safety and consistency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred but not required.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50lb.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services all areas and surfaces of the community including rooms, apartments, offices, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Cleaning, scrubbing, wet and dry mopping, vacuuming and dusting of floors, windows, radiators, equipment, toilets, sinks, mirrors, doors, appliances, walls, tile areas, and all vertical and horizontal surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Empties trash baskets and disposes of trash in the dumpster daily.
• Involved in special cleaning projects and other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate consistency in producing a clean, quality product or work area daily.
• Use cleaning chemicals and compounds in a safe manner in which they were designed to be used.
• Keep cart and supply caddy neat and clean at all times.
• Follow safety data sheets (SDS), Hazard Communication Standards, and Right-to-know law.
• Must practice and assume responsibility for self-safety and safety of your immediate work environment, including other staff and residents.
• Ability to follow Fire Safety Drills and be familiar with fire and evacuation procedures for the department, and self in own work area.
• Communicate to Supervisor and/or Director any challenges, ideas or suggestions.
• Attend community sponsored in-services and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
