Job summary

The Catholic Charities of St. Louis Good Shepherd Children and Family Services is seeking a diligent Housekeeper to clean dining areas, lobbies, restrooms, kitchens, and offices at Good Shepherd Children & Family Services.

Responsibilities include mopping, waxing floors, cleaning rugs and furniture, emptying trash, and assisting with event setup. Must be able to follow instructions and lift up to 50 lbs. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a limited number of words and numbers.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean dining rooms, lobbies, hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, and offices.
• Dust, mop, sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors.
• Clean rugs, carpets, furniture, and windows.
• Empty trash and replace lighting as needed.
• Set up cafeterias and events; observe safety standards.
