Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks and interact with residents, staff, and guests to provide excellent service.

The role emphasizes adherence to cleaning procedures, infection control, and safety guidelines, with hands-on training, career development, and support from HCSG. Residency within the service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with building occupants, staff, and leadership.
• Must meet COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand, walk and perform routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas and offices.
• Ensure cleaning and sanitation following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests and provide customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
