Job summary

Victorian Senior Care in Mayodan, NC is seeking a dedicated cleaner for an assisted living community. You will perform general cleaning, set up warning signs for wet floors, and maintain supplies to keep the facility orderly and safe.

Responsibilities include ensuring sanitation standards of 90+ and cooperating with staff while respecting residents’ dignity and privacy. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and pass background checks; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, understand and follow directions.
• Able to lift/pull/push a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must have no substantiated findings on the NC Personnel Registry or Health Care Program.
• Must have a clear SBI and DMV record during employment.
• Must have a two-step tuberculin skin test before hire and within two weeks of first test.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the community including floors, furniture, bathrooms and laundry facilities.
• Place appropriate warning signs where floors are being cleaned for safety.
• Maintain supplies of soap, towels and tissue in appropriate areas.
• Empty and clean trash cans regularly and manage waste.
• Ensure a clean environment with sanitation grade 90 or above at all times.
• Follow home policies and participate in required education and training.
• Protect resident confidentiality and maintain their dignity and safety.
