Job summary

Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab in Lancaster County, PA is hiring a Housekeeper for 6am-2pm Mon-Fri and alternating weekends. You will clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, and report repairs to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Cleaning skills, detail oriented, and time management.
• Long-term care or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, utility rooms, storage room, linen room.
• Clean mattresses and beds, gather dirty laundry and place in the appropriate area.
• Report any needed repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
• Make suggestions for changes in procedure and/or equipment to maintain high standards and safe working conditions.
• Distribute linen and gowns among residents, maintain cleaning equipment, and monitor inventory of essential supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
