Job summary

Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team in Elizabethtown, PA. The 6am-2pm shift runs Monday through Friday with every other weekend, offering a stable daytime schedule and the chance to contribute to a compassionate resident-centered environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, utility spaces, linen areas, and assisting with inventory and supplies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Cleaning skills, detail oriented, and time management.
• Long-term care or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, utility rooms, storage room, linen room.
• Clean mattresses and beds, gather dirty laundry and place in the appropriate area.
• Report any needed repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
• Make suggestions for changes in procedure and/or equipment to maintain high standards and safe working conditions.
• Distribute linen and gowns among residents, maintain cleaning equipment, and monitor inventory of essential supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
