Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping, sanitation and infection control practices.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules, maintain cleanliness standards, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, wash windows, polish furniture, and replenish supplies.
• Dispose of waste according to safety standards and DHS/Company procedures.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces to reduce infection risks and follow PPE guidelines.
• Assist with room turnover, admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards promptly to leadership.
• Interact respectfully with residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in an organized manner.
