Job summary

Vaiden-Community-Living-Center is seeking an attentive housekeeper to support the daily operations of our facility and maintain a clean, orderly environment for residents. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks and ensure rooms meet our standards.

The ideal candidate has attention to detail, works with integrity, and can handle shifts with little supervision. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, and we offer flexible pay schedules, healthcare benefits, tuition assistance, a 401k

Qualifications

• Must meet all local health regulations and pass the post-employment physical exam if required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
• Notify superiors of any damage, deficits, and disturbances.
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company related practices
