Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will contribute to resident comfort and facility hygiene, working as part of a compassionate care team.

The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to follow cleanliness protocols and infection control guidelines. No prior experience is required, though previous housekeeping work is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
