Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, including resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, while following established procedures.

The role emphasizes infection control, reports safety issues, and delivers friendly, respectful service to residents and staff. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; prior housekeeping experience is helpful but not necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Positive attitude and effective communication with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control policies and provide excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
