Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper Aide in Jefferson City, MO to maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment for residents and staff. This role supports daily cleaning of patient rooms, bathrooms and shared spaces, while following facility procedures and safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare environments, strong communication skills, and a friendly, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a healthcare environment in Environmental Services preferred.
• Friendly attitude and excellent communication skills required.
• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication in an interdisciplinary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Cleans resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas daily according to facility procedures.
• Cleans walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors, and floors as scheduled.
• Secures housekeeping supplies and prevents access by residents.
• Disposes of trash and waste following facility policies, including biohazardous materials.
• Uses PPE and follows chemical safety procedures; references MSDS for handling instructions.
• Reports pests or hazards to supervisor; communicates with Maintenance Director as needed.
• Participates in safety drills and emergency procedures to ensure resident safety.
• Reports injuries promptly to supervisors and attends in-service education as assigned.
