Job summary

Tower Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse at our Reading, PA facilities. You will assist with activities of daily living, document patient interactions, and help maintain patient rooms and equipment in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Includes requirements for high school education, potential Direct patient care experience, and certifications such as BLS and PA Nurse Aide if assigned to specific units.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Direct patient care experience preferred but not required.
• BLS Certification; PA Nurse Aide Certification if assigned to TSU unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic patient care tasks.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and document patient interactions.
• Support patient safety and maintain clean, stocked patient care areas.
