Responsibilities

• Collaborates as part of the team to support patient goals and a therapeutic environment.
• Obtains vital signs and documents in the electronic health record.
• Performs routine tests and screenings and collects specimens for testing.
• Participates in patient education, quality improvement, and referrals as needed.
• Follows clinical practice guidelines and coordinates orders for radiology and labs.
• Performs administrative and clerical tasks such as flow, room stocking, scheduling, and responses to patient questions.
