Job summary

Henderson Care Center Inc in Kentucky is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support the clinical team under the Charge Nurse. You will help with daily living activities, monitor patient status, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

You will perform bathing, hygiene, vital signs, feeding assistance, and documentation. The role includes weekend coverage and requires a CNA certification with BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Nebraska CNA certification is desirable.
• BLS certification may be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care under supervision of Charge Nurse.
• Assist with bathing, hygiene, oral care, and grooming.
• Make and maintain clean patient beds and environments.
• Collect specimens for urine, stool, and sputum tests.
• Assist with toileting and feeding as needed.
• Record intake/output and vital signs.
• Assist admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Respond to call lights and patient needs.
• Maintain patient comfort and report changes to nursing staff.
