Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home end-of-life care across Ventura, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Oxnard and surrounding areas. You’ll practice on the road, listen to families, explain options clearly, and help families say goodbye with dignity in the comfort of home.

The role offers a guaranteed base salary with generous bonuses, 2–5 day options, self-managed scheduling, and full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and CE allowance).

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Weekend availability preferred or required as per schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification, background check, and driving record review will be completed.
