Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice in Charlotte, NC is seeking compassionate veterinarians to deliver in-home hospice and end-of-life care for beloved pets, on the pet family's terms, with time to listen and explain. You will work on the road, in the homes of clients, with ongoing mentorship and support from a dedicated team, while maintaining work-life balance with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent (VMD/BVMS).
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Weekends on your terms; flexible scheduling options.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification, background check, and driving record review prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets.
• Practice medicine with compassion and dignity in clients' homes.
• Deliver care independently on the road with mentorship and team support.
