Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services across designated Texas regions and surrounding areas. You will practice on the road with a focus on dignified, patient-centered end-of-life care, receiving mentoring and strong team support from seasoned colleagues.

We offer a flexible schedule (2–5 days per week), a generous base salary plus quarterly bonuses, comprehensive benefits, and no non-compete.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Weekends on Your Terms with flexible scheduling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification, background check, and driving record review prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets in patients' homes.
• Practice medicine autonomously while traveling between appointments.
• Engage with families to answer questions with kindness and support during difficult moments.
• Collaborate with the care team and mentors for ongoing professional growth.
