Custom Care Hospice in the Dallas area seeks a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver skilled nursing care focused on comfort and dignity for terminally ill patients. You will manage symptoms, support families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in home or facility settings.

The role emphasizes documentation, compliance with hospice regulations, and the ability to navigate end-of-life care with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state.
• CPR certification required.
• Hospice and Palliative Care certification preferred.
• 1–2+ years nursing experience in hospice, home health, or acute care.
• Experience with end-of-life care and symptom management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and symptom progression.
• Administer medications and manage pain.
• Coordinate with physicians, social workers, and chaplains.
• Educate families and provide bereavement support.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance.
