Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program with a minimum of 500 hours of training.

• Understands hospice philosophy and is comfortable providing care to the terminally ill.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional massage and body treatments in accordance with Beyond Hospice protocols.
• Provide individualized massage therapy based on each patient’s comfort needs and plan of care.
• Promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for hospice patients.
• Schedule visits with patients and families and communicate needs with the hospice team.
• Maintain documentation according to Beyond Hospice policies and infection-control procedures.
