Job summary

Villa Marie Claire is seeking an Environmental Services/Housekeeping team member to perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks across the facility. You will interact with patients, families, and staff in a compassionate, service-oriented manner, ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities include preparing cleaning solutions, sanitizing rooms, and maintaining supply levels. Experience in healthcare or hospitality is preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Interact with coworkers, patients, and visitors in a compassionate, courteous, and professional manner.
• Complete tasks as scheduled or assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Prepare housekeeping solutions per manufacturer recommendations.
• Clean areas by sanitizing furniture, surfaces, and equipment with germicidal solutions.
• Prepare discharged beds promptly and record completion times.
• Report discharge activity accurately via the computer.
• Dust, damp mop floors, vacuum carpets, and arrange furniture after cleaning.
• Replenish supplies before dispensers run empty.
• safely operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and auto-scrubbers.
• Support facilities team with grounds and maintenance as needed.
• Perform additional duties to assist the team.
