Job summary

Best Hospice Care of Texas in Beaumont, TX is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice team. You will provide hands-on care in patients' homes and other residential settings, support families, and work with an interdisciplinary team to uphold comfort and dignity.

The role requires Texas CNA certification, CPR certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification meeting Texas state requirements.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism.
• Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude.
• Comfortable providing care to patients with life-limiting illnesses.
• Previous hospice or home health experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Assist with mobility, repositioning, and range-of-motion exercises as directed.
• Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the RN Case Manager.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
• Work closely with our interdisciplinary hospice team to ensure exceptional patient care.
