Job summary

Cadre Family Companies’ Inspire Hospice and Palliative Care team is hiring a Hospice Care Assistant (CNA) to join a compassionate, patient-centered care team. You will work across patients’ homes, delivering essential daily living support and end-of-life care with dignity and kindness.

We seek dependable, compassionate CNAs who can travel within the service area, communicate effectively with the clinical team, and uphold high standards of safety and privacy.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in GA is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as CNA in hospice/palliative or similar setting.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Clean driving record and current auto insurance.
• Ability to travel throughout the service area.
• Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene).
• Assist with positioning, transfers, ambulation, and mobility needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
• Respect patient dignity, privacy, preferences and routines.
• Promote independence and comfort.
• Provide comfort measures per care plan.
• Observe changes and report to supervising nurse.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment.
• Change linens and assist with basic household tasks as appropriate.
• Follow infection prevention and privacy standards.
• Complete accurate documentation of care.
