Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Hospice Nursing Aide to support patients at home in Alabama. You will assist with personal care, bathing, and daily routines while maintaining patient comfort and dignity.

You will collaborate with a supervising RN to monitor patient progression and communicate family needs. A valid CNA registry and CPR certification are required, with reliable transportation and a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time direct client care experience in an institutional setting or within the last five years in home health or hospice care.
• Registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Basic technology skills including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bedding changes, bathing hospice patients, and hygienic routines.
• Support families by instructing on basic care and comfort measures.
• Coordinate with supervising RNs to report patient progression and family needs.
