Iowa City Hospice is seeking a full-time Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant to provide one-on-one, compassionate care to patients and families during their most challenging journeys. The role follows a M-F 8 AM–5 PM schedule with a potential one-hour midday break.

Competenze

• Completion of required CNA/home health aide certifications as listed.
• Two years of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong communication.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and personal care.

Mansioni

• Provide hands-on support with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Observe and report changes in patient condition with attention and care.
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and reassuring presence.
• Assist with medications and treatments under nurse direction.
• Maintain a clean, safe, calming environment for patients.
• Collaborate with nurses, social workers, and hospice care team.
• Follow safety and infection control guidelines to ensure quality care.
