Job summary

Altus Hospice is seeking a Full-time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team in Victoria, TX, providing hands-on end-of-life care and collaborating with the nursing staff to meet patients’ needs. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

You will help patients with daily living activities, dignity-focused care, and emotional support while adhering to regulatory standards and documentation requirements. Comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current unencumbered CNA certificate in the state.
• Minimum one year CNA experience in acute or long-term care setting.
• CPR certification if state-mandated.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care according to the plan of care and attend to patient and family requests with compassion.
• Assist with personal care tasks: bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and grooming.
• Maintain exceptional customer service and strive for high patient satisfaction.
• Support families by sharing knowledge and guiding them in caring for loved ones.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and agency systems.
