Job summary
Altus Hospice Care is seeking a dedicated Full-time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team in Victoria, TX. You will work closely with our nursing staff to provide hands-on care that brings comfort, dignity, and peace to patients at the end of life.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; Coverage area includes Victoria and surrounding areas. Comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities are offered to support your professional journey.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current unencumbered CNA certificate in the state.
- Minimum one year experience as a CNA in acute or long-term care; hospice experience is a plus.
- CPR certification must be current if state mandates.
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care following the care plan to ensure comfort and well‑being of patients.
- Assist with personal care such as bathing, oral hygiene, bedding changes, dressing, and hair care.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support patient satisfaction.
- Provide support for families with guidance and reassurance during this challenging time.
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient home records and agency systems.
