Job summary

Absolute Hospice, Inc. seeks a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Hospice team for a full-time daytime schedule, Monday through Friday, serving patients in their homes across Ohio.

The role focuses on compassionate personal care, patient comfort, and clear communication with families. You must hold an active CNA license, complete CNA courses, have one year of patient-care experience, and possess a valid Ohio driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be Certified and Licensed CNA with current license.
• One year of patient care experience in hospital or nursing facility.
• Valid Ohio driver's license with safe driving record.
• Able to communicate effectively with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Performing personal care needs after given a patient's assignment and attending to his/her requests promptly.
• Providing patient and family with positive communication techniques, within realm of ethical and respectful care, including confidentiality.
• Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linen as often as assigned.
• Assisting in dressing and undressing patients as assigned.
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals, including shopping, as assigned.
