Qualifications

• Completion of Nurse Aide program, testing, and state registration required.
• At least 1 year of patient care experience preferred in hospital, nursing home, or related facility.

Responsibilities

• Clean and bathe patients.
• Assist in toileting and maintain patient hygiene and bedding.
• Turn, reposition, and assist transfers between wheelchairs, seats, and beds.
• Serve meals and help patients eat.
• Assist with room and facility cleaning and housekeeping.
• Maintain par stock of supplies on hand.
• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature.
• Observe patient health concerns and report changes to the nurse.
• Work three 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 pm–7:00 am, including weekends at Hospice Inpatient Care Center in Seaman, OH.
