Job summary

TriHealth Hospice of Cincinnati is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide direct patient care under supervision, assisting with bathing, feeding, ambulation, and offering companionship and emotional support in a sensitive home-care and inpatient setting.

This part-time role (24 hours weekly) features a night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with every third weekend and holiday, and mileage reimbursement when floating across care centers. Must have High School Diploma or GED and BLS on hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Reading and Math skills.
• BLS certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, feeding, ambulation) and offer companionship.
• Document care activities and maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and patient family.
