Job summary

Optimal Care is seeking a Hospice Aide/CNA to provide compassionate in-home and facility-based care within the Lansing service area. You will assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, meals, and daily activities, traveling to patient homes in the service region.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CNA/nurse aide certification and be in good standing on state registry.
• Must complete a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised training; 16 hours classroom prior to 16 hours practical training.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and automobile insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meal prep to patients in home or facility settings.
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to support each patient's needs and comfort.
• Maintain dignity, compassion, and respectful communication to patients and families during visits.
