Job summary

Episcopal Homes is seeking a compassionate Hospice Home Health Aide (HHA) in Oakdale, MN. You will provide personal care, assist with mobility, meals, and comfort, while supporting the hospice team in delivering end-of-life care with dignity.

The role requires Minnesota Nursing Assistant training, at least 75 hours of clinical training, and being at least 18 years old. Hospice experience is preferred, with full-time day shifts and hourly pay between $19.38 and $25.86, DOE.

Qualifications

• Meets Minnesota Nursing Assistant training requirements.
• Completion of at least 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training, including required clinical and practical training.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of hospice or end-of-life care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, positioning, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Help with meals, feeding, and nutritional needs.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and report concerns to the RN Case Manager.
• Provide skin care and assist in preventing skin breakdown.
• Offer emotional support and comfort to patients and families.
• Assist with light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Provide caregiver respite when appropriate.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the hospice interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
