Job summary

VitalCaring Group is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide/CNA to provide comfort, dignity, and compassionate care to patients in their homes across Alcorn, Tishomingo, and Tippah counties. You will work closely with RNs, social workers, chaplains, and leadership to ensure high-quality end-of-life care.

Qualifications

Completion of state-required Hospice Aide/CNA training (CNA certification if required by state).
Current CPR certification.
Ability to follow care plans, document clearly, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
Support comfort via repositioning, mobility assistance, and skin care.
Provide light housekeeping to keep environment clean and safe.
Offer respite support to caregivers and families.
Observe and report changes to RN/Case Manager.
Assist with vital signs and basic care tasks as directed.
Honor hospice philosophy—focus on comfort, not cure.
Respect patient preferences and routines; be mindful of cultural needs.
Document care accurately and timely.
Communicate with compassion across patients, families, and team members.
Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in every interaction.
