Job summary

Right at Home South Central Michigan is hiring for Homemaker/Companion positions to serve local seniors in the community. You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and help with light housekeeping to maintain a safe, respectful home environment.

We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and ongoing training. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel as needed within the service area. Join our positive team and make a meaningful difference.

Qualifications

• Must have a sympathetic attitude and be able to handle job demands.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English with or without accommodations.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to safely operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with homemaking tasks to maintain comfort and dignity.
• Provide companionship and support during activities and outings.
• Assist with errands, mobility, and light housekeeping as needed.
• Maintain safety and do not exceed 20% of time on general housework.
• Build trusting relationships and communicate changes to the client and supervisor.
