Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is hiring a Direct Care Worker in Green Bay, Wisconsin. You will provide companionship, assist with personal care and homemaking tasks to help clients remain independent at home.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license or access to reliable transportation, 40 hours of WI training or 6 months of equivalent experience, and RCP certification or ability to obtain within 90 days. Flexible hours offered.

Qualifications

• WI: 40 hours training or 6 months of equivalent experience
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
• 6+ months of experience in home care
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet identified clients’ needs

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship through reading, talking, listening, and related activities
• Perform errands, transport clients, when necessary, within State guidelines
• Report unusual incidents or changes in client's behavior or home situation to Agency Director
• Perform homemaking services such as cleaning, light meal preparation, laundry, and other light cleaning duties
