Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is hiring a Care Worker / Support Worker to deliver compassionate, person-centred care in clients' homes. You will follow individual care plans, promote independence and ensure dignity and safety at all times.

The role involves assisting with personal care, mobility, nutrition and medication, while maintaining accurate records and liaising with families and healthcare professionals. Training and compliance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with nutrition and hydration, including meal prep and fluids.
• Support with medications per care plan and policy.
• Promote independence and support choices where possible.
• Maintain privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
• Report safeguarding concerns immediately.
• Follow health and safety, infection control and risk-management procedures.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes.
• Communicate effectively with service users, families and professionals.
• Support relationship-building and community participation.
• Work within competence and seek help if needed.
• Attend mandatory training, supervision and meetings.
