Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Speech–Language Pathology.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conducts evaluations and assesses home environment for speech-language needs.
• Participates in development of individualized plan of care with patient, caregivers and interdisciplinary team.
• Provides patient, caregiver, and family counseling and education.
• Prepares clinical notes and communicates with physicians and other practitioners.
• Identifies speech defects and establishes a plan of care to improve function.
• Administers speech therapy program using specialized techniques and equipment.
• May supervise home health aide in related procedures.
• Participates in quality assessment and in-service trainings.
• Performs other duties to facilitate delivery of speech-language pathology services.
